I am pleased to announce that Linda Matney Gallery, Williamsburg, VA will present a one-person exhibition of my ink on drafting film drawings. The title of the exhibition is Unleashing Instinct: Drawings by Michael K. Paxton and will open November 12, 2016 and run until Dec. 10.

Chicago artist Michael K. Paxton interview about his exhibition From Enoch to Strange Creek produced by West Virginia Public Broadcasting during his Visiting Artist stay with the School of Art & Design of West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. Jeff Young interviewed Michael while this installation was on view at the Laura Mesaros Gallery of West Virginia University. This was coupled with a Radio Feature, Dateline West Virginia Inside Appalachia, West Virginia Public Radio and was a television feature, Outlook with West Virginia Public Broadcasting.This installation traveled for three years with exhibitions with the Chicago Cultural Center and Miami University Art Museum, Oxford, OH among others.
